A cold front has moved in and cause the rain to mix with some snow. Not great fun for the bicycle rider.

Mt. Hood.

Driving back from Prineville, I passed through the Mt. Hood ski region (through Government Camp). This particular place is the Upper Snow Park. The lifts were running and there were plenty of folks out skiing.

Around the Bend.

Just around the corner from Prineville is the Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon. How can you resist a stout on the nitro tap?

Road trip.

This weekend calls for a road trip. Destination: Prineville, Oregon. By way of Portland. This shot is the Moon just prior to reaching Warm Springs, and just aways after coming out of Mt. Hood National Forest. What's in Prineville? Stay tuned.

Cloudshine.

An amazing day in Seattle today. The dark clouds are looming in the background, but its all sunshine for this gorgeous young woman standing on the tiered fountain beneath the blossoming trees and across the street from the Seattle Art Museum. 

Sunset on the Bay.

A beautiful sunset tonight downtown around Pier 52. It's nice to find a bit of evening sunshine in the City. Although the air was a bit chilly, folks were out on the docks taking it all in. Traffic was light in the Port, but I wonder why I never hear the ships blowing horn alerts as they come in.
